The Certification Plan includes the most value of all of our plans. It includes:

• The Certification program: 10 weeks of instruction and practice teaching the Bullet Journal Method to peers and the Bujo community, feedback, final exam, and 3 month provisional licensing period with monthly meetings to complete practice teaching requirements
• Access to the trainer’s version of the Foundations Course, meaning you see the content from a trainer’s perspective through targeted prompts and exercises
• Access to the course material during the program duration (6 months)
• PLUS: all of the benefits from the Transformation Plan and Foundation Plan

This program requires successful completion of the Transformation Plan and represents a step up in commitment and intensity. Participants typically invest 2-5 hours per week on coursework, which includes watching training materials, completing exercises, and preparing to teach practice sessions with peers.

Since we offer this program only once per year, consistent engagement throughout the 6-month duration is essential. This is professional development designed as a learning lab where your active participation directly impacts both your learning and your peers' experience.

You might use your experience with the Transformation course work as a baseline to help consider your current capacity for intensive learning alongside your other responsibilities.

The Certification Plan provides access to training materials and spaces during the 7-month program period. If you don't complete all requirements (coursework, final exam, and practicum), you will not receive certification and cannot purchase the annual license, and your access to the Certification Plan will end. You're welcome to continue your Bullet Journal journey by purchasing a Foundation Plan or Transformation Plan to maintain access to the Bujo U community.

The Certification Plan requires a firm commitment from all participants. Once live sessions begin on September 19th, no refunds will be provided. Since we offer this program only once per year with limited capacity, we need participants who are fully prepared to engage with the intensive curriculum and complete all requirements.

Once you have completed the requirements, you activate your annual license for $500. This includes:

• Access to a Certified Trainers space which includes formal Bullet Journal® resources and access to other trainers
• Quarterly continuing education as an optional, voluntary way to stay updated on the methodology and consult with other trainers on various topics to better serve our clients
• Annual license that authorizes you to use the Bullet Journal® Certified Trainer mark to market your services and teach official Bullet Journal® workshops
• Access to use licensed materials for your workshops
• Marks of credibility such as a Credly digital Badge for display on social profiles and listing on our Trainers Directory webpage

The Certification Plan will be available for enrollment beginning September, and is open once a year.

The live course sessions will be 90 minutes on Fridays at 12:00 - 1:30pm Eastern Time from 19 September to 21 November with a break on 24 October. We will maintain the time slot even as time changes occur in different weeks country to country.

Part of the course requirements is to teach two 30-minute Tutoring Sessions to the Bujo U community, to occur in November.

In the Practicum phase (January - March), there will be Monthly sessions to continue education and consultation.

Since the program is designed as a learning lab, you are strongly encouraged to be in attendance. We will be doing mini teaching sessions so it is most beneficial if you are there to participate. If you anticipate missing more than 1 session, you might wait until next time to participate.

Replays will be available for you to revisit and if you have to miss a session. Access to replays ends after the program is over.

We know this time will not work for every single time zone - we hope to offer more options in the future.

The Certification Plan is best suited for people who already work as trainers, coaches, facilitators, or educators—and want to add the Bullet Journal Method as an official tool they are licensed to teach. We've found the strongest participants bring this work into an existing professional context where they're already supporting others in learning, reflection, or behavior change.

You're also welcome to join for your own learning, even if you don't plan to offer workshops. However, the program is designed with aspiring trainers in mind—those ready to deliver official Bullet Journal sessions that can genuinely transform how people approach their lives.

We focus on helping you confidently teach the Bullet Journal Method and understand how to position it as a valuable tool for different audiences. We do not teach business fundamentals like legal structures or marketing—if you're new to business, you may want to pair this program with other resources for those foundational skills.

Being a Bullet Journal® Certified Trainer authorizes you offer Official Bullet Journal workshops, where you can teach the core Bullet Journal Method in specific time-bound engagements (clearly defined curriculum over a set period of sessions or time period).

It does NOT certify you to:

• Offer or produce a video course.
• Train others how to teach the Bullet Journal® Method.
• Create or sell any merchandise with the Bullet Journal® mark or logo.
• Use the method in a long-term coaching relationship.

Please note that offering paid trainings or classes on The Bullet Journal® Method without certification is a trademark violation. To share the Bullet Journal practice, individuals interested in teaching Bullet Journal classes can apply for certification through our program.

We take no responsibility for any “Bullet Journal” courses, products, or services that have been purchased through unofficial channels. Our certified trainers, and programs onbulletjournal.com are the only vetted sources for teaching the method.

Once you’ve completed the certification, you’ll have a powerful new tool to use with your clients. You’re always welcome to participate in our ongoing, optional education sessions to stay connected and current with the methodology.

To maintain active certification, there is an annual $500 licensing fee.

Each year, you’ll also be invited to complete a Concept Check—a learning tool designed to help you refresh your understanding and stay aligned with the official Bullet Journal framework. While strongly encouraged, the Concept Check is not a pass/fail requirement and is not tied to your licensing renewal.

Each quarter, you are invited to join a Trainers Call, where we discuss the latest developments of the Methodology, help support each other's endeavors, and more.

Yes. Bullet Journaling is a flexible framework that complements your voice and work—it doesn’t replace it. We will guide you as to where personalization will have the greatest impact.

You’re not just learning a method—you’re building a professional path. You’ll gain tools, community, and a license to teach a system that changes lives. Also, it can also provide a framework making your customer, client, or patient experiences even more powerful.

If money is your primary concern, this plan may not be for you. With that said, the answer totally depends on your personal circumstances and who you serve.

Some of our trainers work for free, others train teams at global enterprises, and others simply want to be able to offer Bujo as a tool alongside their main offering. Some make most of their income through Bujo, others teach Bujo for some supplementary income.

We won't teach you how to run a business, but we will teach how to transmit a method that has proven life changing to countless people around the world.
