I have wanted to try implementing some of the unique aspects of Bullet Journaling to the way I use my planner. I use disc bound notebooks so that I can replace pages and I use bullet grid filler paper. I was delighted to discover the guide pack which allows me to incorporate the special features of BuJo into my existing notebook. Ryder's video lessons are helpful and inspiring actually. Portable version of Bullet Journal basics. It is exactly what I need to tote along for reference while I get the hang of Bullet Journaling. Perfect size that fits tucked in my journal too. And, the full year's worth of stickers are great! I would buy the stickers on their own if they were ever offered as a pack in the future.

I was one of the people requesting that a version of the guide be made available, so when I saw it had happened I jumped. The free PDF is so densely packed and small I could only read it with a magnifying glass, and this booklet is an improvement on that, it covers all the basics and is laid out nicely and easy to read. That's the good news. On the flip side, this booklet is too big to fit in any notebook I'll use, so it won't travel with my journal. The postcard is essentially a big ad with copper foil in it, so not recyclable. Same for the weird cardboard slip case, and it's all mailed in a bubble wrap envelope. The stickers are hard to read and of no use to me. So for $12.56 including shipping, more of what I received is going to landfill than to use. I really hate that. I appreciate BuJo being responsive to their fans so much, but this feels like a swing and miss to me. I could have just nabbed a used copy of the book for 1/3 as much money and gone from there. The guide is nice, but you can truly do it yourself for free.
