Frequently Asked Questions

Certified Bullet Journal® Trainers are independent professionals who have completed our Trainer Certification Program. While we certify their training in the methodology, they run their own businesses and set their own rates, services, and availability. All services are booked and managed directly through the trainers, and Bullet Journal® does not oversee or take responsibility for those engagements.

Certified Trainers completed our official Trainer Certification Program, which included weeks of in-depth study, peer and community teaching, feedback, and a final assessment. They've demonstrated both a strong understanding of the Bullet Journal® Method and the ability to teach it to others.

While many fans share great tips and content online, only Certified Trainers are authorized to lead official Bullet Journal® workshops and use our registered trademark in their offerings.

We can't speak to the background, preparation, or expertise of any other teachers.

Active Certified Trainers are listed in our [Trainer Directory]. In other places like social media or LinkedIn, you might also see a valid Credly Badge that certifies them as Trainers.

We're not currently accepting new applicants to the program.

Working with a Certified Trainer offers a more personalized, interactive experience. Trainers can answer your questions, draw on many different kinds of examples working with other clients, adapt examples to your unique context, and create space for reflection and real-time learning—something videos and written guides can’t always provide. With their expertise and training, they are able to create an experience that is tailored to you, compiling many resources into one place.

While online content is a great starting point, working with a trainer in your preferred learning style and context can help you apply the method more intentionally in your own life, work, or community.

Certified Trainers completed the official Bullet Journal® Trainer Certification Program — weeks of in-depth curriculum, peer and community teaching practice, and a final assessment. They also completed the prerequisite course, Writing for Being, a deep dive into the personal application of Bullet Journaling.

Trainers continue their learning through quarterly education sessions and demonstrate their ability to teach the Method with integrity.

The Certification Program is no longer accepting new applicants. You can see the current list of Certified Trainers above, in the directory.

Trainers design their own offerings, so services vary. Many already offer their own business services such as corporate training, life coaching, or workshops. Some specialize in working with educators, teams, non-profits or small business, or specific communities.

We encourage you to explore individual trainer listings to learn more about their services, experience, and availability.

Many members share what Bullet Journal® has done for them and their own personal practices through their own content, conversations, and communities, and we love seeing that.

Only current Certified Trainers are authorized to lead workshops using the official Bullet Journal® name and materials — you can see who they are in our Trainer Directory above. We're not currently accepting new applicants, so we're not able to authorize new workshops under our name at this time. We also can't speak to the accuracy or quality of content taught outside that group.
